Fashion Week is one of the most famous events of the year. Paris, New York, London and Milan Fashion Week are the most known Fashion Weeks around the world. It only occurs twice a year, February and September, to show off the Spring and Autumn collections of high-end retailers.
Trends come and go depending on what the designers show on the runway every year. Some of these trends have been around for a while whilst others have gone and come back. The '90s and early 2000s fashion made its comeback in 2020, so we will have to see what trends from those eras have influenced designers to stick with the throwbacks of the decades, and what trends will be inspiring us to try new things this year.
Fashion has no rules so these trends are only to inspire and influence you to make your own spin of these trends and try new things. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be scary, but it is also encouraged. If you like these trends and try a new style, comment below what you liked and what you tried! If you like dressing however you want then that is great too.
Stick with me as we take a look at what multiple designers have shown at Fashion Week to tell us what is hot this year.

Denim-on-denim looks were seen a lot during Fashion Week, Milan, Paris and London to be specific. So be prepared to see a lot of denim this Spring!
Baggy jeans are also hot this year, so why not try loose jeans paired with a denim bralette or oversized Levi's jacket, this will make you look super on-trend this year.
Oversized Tailoring

Oversized blazers have been around for a few years now, but now so are matching 'dad fit' trousers for a full relaxed suit vibe.
This look is giving model-off-duty vibes, so whether you're off to work or grabbing a coffee, you'll look chic and put together by following this trend. Pair with clean trainers and a slick hair look for the clean-girl aesthetic.
Bright Colours

Nothing screams 'spring/summer' quite like vibrant colours in every shade of the rainbow!
Spring is usually associated with pastel colours but it looks like vibrant colours are the new pastel this year! Adding a pop of colour to a neutral outfit with shoes and accessories will help you stay on trend in a more subtle way.
Puff Sleeves

Whether you're heading into the office or a night out, a puff sleeve dress can make a statement in any setting. After it was featured in several runways it looks as though it will be a big wardrobe statement this spring.

Roberto Cavalli was particularly a fan of animal print for Spring 2022. It will be easy to turn heads this spring in a head-to-toe bold print outfit.

Fashion Week told us corsets aren't going anywhere this year. They will be a popular wardrobe addition this Autumn/Winter.
Show off your femininity and curves in a corset this autumn. Pair with relaxed trousers or jeans, or wow the crowd with a corset dress on your night out.
Love them all!
